Validation & Pilot

A staged validation pathway for a geothermal materials platform under development.

How validation progresses

NovelProp follows a staged validation approach intended to reduce technical uncertainty step by step. The objective is to move from baseline material understanding toward application-relevant evaluation and, where justified, next-step partner discussions.

Stage 1 -
Baseline material characterisation

Current work begins with baseline characterisation of the platform, including parameters such as apparent density, particle integrity, sorption-related behaviour, and lot consistency. This stage supports the current public technical profile and helps define the next validation priorities.

Stage 2 - Application-relevant technical evaluation

The second stage focuses on application-relevant performance questions, such as transport behaviour, thermal exposure, chemical compatibility, and the structure of future conductivity-related test work. The scope depends on technical priorities and counterpart context.

Stage 3 -
Partner discussion and preparation

Where there is a strong application fit, NovelProp may enter structured discussions on pilot logic, data-sharing boundaries, evaluation criteria, and next-step technical work.
